This artist talk, presented alongside the screening of The Deity Yet to Be Seen, examines the intersection of myth, gender and identity. “Everyone is a girl online.” as a lens to explore themes of fluidity, transformation, and power in a hypermediated world. By deconstructing the journey of the green serpent as a metaphor—through mimicking, the green serpent transforms from a woman to a being that is both woman and man, and beyond—the talk critiques AI-driven mimicry and the dynamic interplay of creation, control, and power reversal.
