Caniveau Grove explores the nature of symbiotic relationships between beings, focusing namely on assemblages of parasitism. Within this volatile environment, an array of hybrid life-forms scavenge, bite, and adapt their ways to survive.
* Claude Eigan strives to create oneiric settings and environments where all senses are heightened through their exhibitions. Influenced by contemporary poetry, the Berlin-based artist translates those strategies into a sculptural practice that triggers memory and enhances sensations. Altering scale and color, isolating or externalizing individual structures such as bones, intestines, or fluids, they look at the dysfunctional anatomy of our collective imaginary and explores the abject dimension of the body, as well as other areas of uncertainty and chaos.
